A recent layout I did using mostly Prima products and a sketch by Anam Stubbington for Prima. Love the sketch and of course all the Prima goodies. I love flowers and blings. :)

The next challenge is up at The Paper Element. Susan Dupre's come up with a great challenge. Go take a look and give it a shot. There are prizes to be won and you don't have to use The Paper Element products.

I just read on another challenge blog, Lotus Paperie, that Vanessa's received applications from Singapore for her new DT team. I wonder who that might be? Is it Veronica, Pearl or Wendy? Or Felicia or June? Good luck to you, whoever you are!!

No, I didn't apply for the position but I can tell you Vanessa has great challenges on her blog. I enjoyed myself as GDT in July, especially when she had inspirational pieces from posters and art then. :)

Celebrate Us

I did this one for myself celebrating the relationship between my daughter and I. Love the photo of us wearing the same t-shirt. :)

I used mostly Hambly overlays on this layout and tried to keep it quite clean. I love using flowers on my layout and this new Prima flower is just gorgeous. Just one beautiful big flower and you really don't need very much other embellishments.

The Paper Element - The Tower, You Are & Sweet Ballerinas

Here are some more DT layouts I did for The Paper Element using their Sweet and Heart Grown collections.

The Tower

This photo is of one of the buildings at The Tower of London. I wanted to try a simple grid format with this layout, something I hardly ever do. As I'm looking at the layout I'm thinking this could be a primary school math question: How many squares are there in this diagram? muahahaha!

Papers used are from The Paper Element's Heart Grown collection, Forever, Finally, Baby Boy and Journey. Stamps are from Purple Onion Designs and Melissa Francis. The grungeboard crown's from Tim Holtz.

You Are...

This layout features the Sweet collection. The Paper Element has fun matching cardstock stickers with every one of their collections. This one featured words such as Special. Cute, Adorable, Wonderful. I decided I would make something my daughter could put up in her room as an inspiration piece. I altered a Maya Road chipboard butterfly and covered it with the cardstock stickers and added the words "You Are..." I hand drew the flourish following the butterfly for a little bit of whimsy and added in lots of glitter and bling. And for a last bit of inspiration included a quote from Henry David Thoreau.

Sweet Ballerinas

This layout features more of the pretty pinks of the Sweet collection. Papers used are Queen Anne Cherries, Liquorice, Gumdrops.

Hyde Park

Here's a quick one I did using Chatterbox's Artsy.licious Fine Illustrated Paper in Chocolate, Together Stripe and Together Warm Floral. Love the combination of teal and brown. To add a feminine touch to the boyish colours, I added a touch of pink, Chatterbox and Prima flowers, and also lace trims. tfl!

The Paper Element - First Pointes & Wonder

Two of my recent DT layouts for The Paper Element.

This one, First Pointes, uses the very pretty pink Sweet line:

The layout is scraplifted from Aida at Made With Love.

And the second, Wonder, uses the Heart Grown line. Muted pastel shades of pink, blue and green which are perfect for scrapping children's photos:

Thanks for coming by!
