Prima Challenge

I love Prima products, so when I surfed on over to their site and found a challenge, I just had to enter it. So here's my take on Emeline's hybrid layout sketch. I used Prima's Damask Dream Sweet Page frames on a couple of the photos and photoshopped a collage for the large photo. I embellished the page with lots of lovely Prima flowers and crystal swirls. For even more texture and depth, I added ribbons, pearls, buttons and a doily. This was fun, trying out a hybrid layout and making use of my Photoshop.

The Monalisa

There was a challenge on Made With Love recently, which called for paint and doodling on cardstock. There were beautiful entries with realistic portraits, sketches... Really works of art. And there I was thinking I would doodle a flower, thinking how creative that would be. How wrong I was! So, many entries later, I decided on a lark to join in the fun with a really silly layout. :) I slapped on some paint on cs, sketched over a cartoon of the monalisa, doodled the picture frames and voila! My silly monalisa layout. I thought it would be interesting to use my journalling as background so that went on as well. And when it was all over, I realized I hadn't used any pattern paper on the layout at all. Cool!
