Reflect

I wanted to try something different with this layout so I tore up strips of Lily Bee patterned paper and used that as a mat for my photo. I like how the one little red bird in the pp stands out and how it complements the birds in the photo.
The photo was taken by a lake in New Zealand where it was just so peaceful and tranquil. Settings like this make me think, reflect and contemplate. Hence the title "Reflect".
List of Supplies:
Lily Bee patterned paper and Maya Road flower from My Scrapbook Nook's May kit;
Flowers - Prima;
Crystals - Prima;
Lace & trim - own stash;
Others - Robin's Nest Dew Drops & Rangers Liquid Pearls

{Heart}
And this is my layout using the three Communique papers:

I kept the lines on this layout clean with quite a bit of white space. To balance the layout I added a mini cluster on the top right, which is where I placed the title {Heart}. The title is short for "I {heart} you", a play on popular current jargon. The contemporary title is juxtaposed against the old style forms of communication featured in the patterned papers, such as old world rotary phones, to bring out the contrast between old and new.
The title is stamped using Great Circus alphabet stamps from Purple Onion Designs. The font on this alpha is beautiful and as with all Purple Onion rubber stamps, the image is fantastically crisp.
The flower centre here is made from Prima lace.

Escape

Here's another layout I created using My Scrapbook Nook's May kit. The Lily Bee Three Little Birds papers are just perfect for a nature shot. This one's of my dd by a stream in New Zealand.
To complement the photo and the papers, I made my own little apple trees. I glimmer misted the little Maya Road chipboard trees and added little red gems as apples.

Everything's Coming Up Roses
As all the papers are double-sided, every single layout came out looking really different. Some were more vintage, some romantic, some more graphic and some artistic. You can see what the other design team members did here: Same papers, different styles
And here's my layout using the three patterned papers:

The photos were taken at a rose garden in New Zealand and I thought the Potpourri paper would be perfect for the photos. complemented by some flowers from Prima and Bazzil as well as some pretty lace and pearl embellishments.

Graphic 45 Card

Graphic 45's early Botanicabella papers are still one of my favourite collections from Graphic 45 and the papers are perfect for Mother's Day cards.
Here I've embellished the card with a sprinkling of flowers, lace, trim, satin ribbon and a pearl hat pin for a feminine vintagey card.

Kayaking Fun

Here's another layout I did using Graphic 45's Transatlantique papers. I like how different this layout is from my earlier one using the same collection. While "Parisian Sights" has a warm, vintagey feel, this one's all about being bright, breezy and crisp. I used the brighter blue tones in the Transatlantique collection and kept the lines clean with no distressing at all. I really like that the Transatlantique papers have several papers with a nautical reference which were just right for my photos on kayaking.

To give some texture to the otherwise clean and 2-dimensional layout, I added chipboard flocked alphas, a metallic tag, lace and lots of flowers.

If you like Graphic 45 papers, you're going to love this. A Million Memories is having a Graphic 45 contest as part of their NSD celebrations. More will be revealed at A Million Memories on Friday so don't forget to check it out. :)
List of Supplies:
Patterned Papers - Graphic 45's Transatlantique Collection
Flowers - Prima
Alphas - Forever in Time flocked chipboard conts
Metal Embellishment - K & Company
Lace - unknown
