Go grunge!

The Nook's virtual crop is going on right now with lots of challenges and prizes to be won. Here's one of the challenges I've posted up: Challenge #27: Muddy Mud Pies.

The challenge is to create a layout or a set of three cards or tags with a grunge theme. Use lots of inks, distressing, textures, gritty embossing, distress stickles... you get the idea. Here's something I created:

Here's a close-up of the flower I made using Tim Holtz's new flower die:

And a Tim Holtz rubber stamp. I love this quote. And rock candy crackle glaze. :)

The embossed background started life as a plain white cardstock which I embossed with a  dotty embossing folder and misted with Tattered Angels glimmer mists in Slate, Sunshine and Olive Vine.
