A grungy altered toy box

I had loads of fun altering this toy box for a Tattered Angels DT project. I was about to throw the box out but thought why not experiment on it.

So this was the box before:

And this is the box after:

Quite cool, huh? I covered the box with Prima’s Printery patterned papers and misted it all over with Chalk Chalkboard. I then took bits and bobs from my stash of leftovers and went to town covering the grungy collage with Rum Punch Mist and slathered on some Espresso Bean Glam.

Some close-ups:

The lid.

The back of the box.

Oh, that is SO cool!! Love it!!

Thanks for the sweet comment on my blog! Yes, the branches were stencilled onto the page - good eye there! It looks better IRL because I used a few different paints to make it pop a little, but it doesn't quite show online. It was fun to make, anyway!! :D

Hope all's well with you!
Love,
Z
