Graphic 45 - Petaloo Blog Hop

Hello and welcome to the Graphic 45 and Petaloo Blog Hop! We have lots of creative inspiration and prizes for you.

Graphic 45 will be giving away three fab prizes via this Blog Hop (so be sure to leave a comment!), Facebook and Pinterest. Here's what you stand to win:

If you aren't already familiar with Graphic 45 and Petaloo, read on. :)

Graphic 45 is an award-winning scrapbook and paper crafting company. We offer vintage inspired crafting products that capture the flamboyant style of the 1920's and 30's - with vibrant color, irresistible texture and imaginative design to create products with decades-old appeal that's both fresh and familiar. Let our products inspire your next scrapbook layout, card, album or home decor project.

Petaloo is a family-owned business specializing in flowers and embellishments for the crafting industry.  Our embellishments are designed specifically to match all the best selling papers in the industry.  We specialize in embellishments that work perfectly for card makers, scrapbookers,
jewelery designers and altered artists.

And here's what I created for the blog hop. It's a handmade rainbow journal using coptic stitch binding. I hand-stitched the journal using rainbow colours for the inside signature papers. For the covers, I chose the purple Sugar Plum Fairy patterned paper as the last colour for my rainbow (yes, I realize I only have 6 colours in my rainbow.) and layered chipboards and images from Nutcracker Sweet. Purple and green Petaloo flowers complement the purple cover, along with highlights of green and textures from May Arts ribbons and lace.

Rainbow-colored pages for the signature. This journal makes me happy. :)

The inside pages were stamped with images from the Nutcracker Sweet collection of cling stamps.

Wow, not only is the album beautiful, but I am sure the Coptic stitching must have taken a lot of work. It turned out beautifully, and I want to thank you for using the stamps that go with this collection, this is the first time I have seen them used. I love stamps and it is always nice to be able to see what the images look like when stamped.

Thanks for sharing your talent with us and for inspiring me.
