Here's a layout I created for Graphic 45 for CHA, using the Place In Time collection:

We were in Italy in December and one of our favourite cities was Venice. This photo was taken on Burano Island, which is famed for its colourful buildings. The colourful houses that form the background of the photo called for a colourful layout and I found what I needed in the Place In Time collection. I selected the yellows, reds and blues in the collection to reflect the yellows, reds and blues in the houses. I went for a shabby floral look, distressing all the edges and layering the photo upon a postcard image and an air mail envelope, over some muslin. The title 'Venice' is housed inside the Graphic 45 Staples Ornate Metal Label Holder. Finally, a little cluster of Graphic 45 chipboards and flowers adorn the top right corner of the layout.

Secret Garden Card

Here's the card I created for CHA using Graphic 45's latest Secret Garden collection. This collection is SO pretty!

The floral circular card takes its cue from the Secret Garden collection, with lots of handcut flowers popped up with dimensional dots. To echo another image from the collection, I hung a Graphic 45 Staples Ornate Metal Key off a seam binding and completed the cluster with some dimensional roses in complementary colours.

Here's the card on display at CHA. Thank you Sharon for taking the pics and sending them over!

Graphic 45 Steampunk Staples Tag

I had a whale of a time creating this steampunk-style tag for CHA. I created lots of texture on the tag using fabric, patterned paper, paints, mists and chipboards. And on this mixed media foundation I built my Graphic 45 steampunk tag of images from Graphic 45's Steampunk Debutante images and lots of Graphic 45 Staples such as the keys, metal flowers, metal brads and ornate metal key holes. The final tag is a heavyweight. :)

Cutie - A Graphic 45 layout for PaperCrafter's Library

I'm a featured artist on PaperCrafter's Library today and here's what I created for the blog post - it's a layout of my cute little doggie using Graphic 45's Place In Time collection.

I've used Place In Time's May Cut-Aparts and May Foundation papers in this layout. I love the purple on this patterned paper and the wonderful springtime images of flowers and butterflies.

I created a circular background, using doily punchers to create a lacey scrunched up border, and layered this over more patterned paper and doilies.

To complement the floral images in the patterned paper, I've embellished the layout with a flower cluster on either side of the photo, with cut-out butterflies flitting through the flowers.

The title is on a purple banner using sticker alphabets from Graphic 45's Happy Haunting Alphabet Stickers. I layered the alpha stickers on a couple of sheets of purple patterned paper, popping them up with 3D foam dots for more dimension. The banner is linked together using a lovely green silk ribbon from May Arts and the ends of the banner ribbon flow into the flower clusters in a soft swirl.

List of Supplies:
Patterned Paper - Graphic 45 Place In Time May Cut-Aparts & May Foundation
Alphabets - Graphic 45 Happy Haunting Alphabet Stickers
Adhesive - Scrapbook Adhesives 3D Foam Squares
Ribbons - May Arts Ribbons silk ribbon
